Road Maintenance
An overview of the 2026 Estate Road maintenance work programme was provided at the AGM in February. Now, following a detailed review of items identified in the annual survey, we have determined the prime activities for 2026. These are:-
i) urgent patchwork at various locations around the Estate
ii) resurfacing two stretches in MDR between #27 & #35 and #32 & #30
iii) resurfacing part of Deneside between #18 & #26A
iv) resurfacing top of Summerdown Lane to The Link now that the adjacent new build work is all but complete
v) a number of other maintenance works around the Estate including potholes, patching, kerb replacement and gulley works. More details on these later.
Work started on 27 May and other work will follow shortly. The resurfacing work may require traffic controls so we will let you know when the works are to commence.
Drain inspection and clearance will be scheduled for Nov/Dec time as usual.
